There’s nothing quite like hot lunches prepared stream side and coming back from an amazing day on the water to a gourmet meal. The entire experience at IBL is important to us. The stories you’ll tell will not just be about the fishing.

Alaska breeds hearty appetites. Our guests are awoken every morning with the aroma of an incredible breakfast. Eggs made to order, fresh fruit and homemade breads are a few of the amazing dishes prepared to start your day.

After a full morning of fishing, we warm your insides with a hot shore lunch. If the fishing wears you out in the afternoon, don’t worry: calories spent landing six-pound rainbows will be replenished when you return to the lodge for beverages, hors d’oeuvres, and a mouth-watering dinner.

Our Chefs’ philosophy is simple: ingredients of superior quality carry the meal better than heavy sauces. To that end, weekly menus include the finest Alaskan king crab, filet mignon, prime rib, Alaskan shrimp, Alaskan halibut, chicken and baby back ribs. The meals are well balanced, so you needn’t feel guilty when you devour the homemade breads, delicious pastries and gourmet delights served with each lodge meal.
